CVY JOURNAL
Practical guides to AI images, thoughtful prompts, and the details that make a picture work.
Model comparison
Three prompts, one run each, no cherry-picking: how OpenAI's GPT Image 2.5 Flare and Sunburst compare with Nano Banana Pro on a portrait, a text-heavy poster and a product shot, with credit costs.
Image tutorial
You have a single photo and want a GIF. Three routes that actually work: build the frames yourself with free browser tools, generate a sprite sheet and split it into frames, or let AI animate the photo. Costs, limits and settings for each.
Prompt guide
A practical structure for describing your subject, choosing a visual style, and refining an AI image one decision at a time.
Image tutorial
An image-to-image restoration workflow with a complete prompt for repairing old photos while preserving facial features, composition and period details.
Engineering
Detect real divider lines in AI-generated grids with dense pixel scanning and a mean-color deviation test, then crop at the original resolution.
Image tutorial
Create one large image, detect its divider lines and download nine numbered tiles for a WeChat photo grid or a Xiaohongshu tutorial.
Model comparison
Compare GPT Image 2, Seedream 4.5, Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana with one portrait prompt: text rendering, lighting, textures and prompt adherence.
Image tutorial
Remove location metadata from photos, adapt an AI travel cover template, and add text or split a grid before publishing on Xiaohongshu.
